There is nothing like a homemade dinner to welcome you after a long day. It’s such a wonderful source of comfort. In this class you will learn how to make traditional Irish family dinners from my childhood, using seasonal and local produce.

The menu for this unique cooking and dining experience is traditional vegetable broth with soda farls, with a warm bowl of cottage pie or Irish stew and a delicious seasonal fruit pie or dessert to finish.

The participants will make a watch a few cooking demonstrations from Bronagh before they get the opportunity to cook themselves.

Participants will make a traditional comforting vegetable broth and soda bread together.

This class will run all year and homegrown vegetables will be used, freshly picked from the Bakehouse garden and home-reared meat, when available. The menu may also vary due to seasonal availablity.

Maximum class size 10 people, minimum 4 people (discounts available for 6 people plus)

£110 Per Person

In this food experience my aim is to deepen my guests appreciation and understanding of the flavours, ingredients, culinary culture, stories and rituals of Irish food. A cooking class is a great way to learn more and to fully experience Ireland. The stories, from my family recipes, how and what I cook for special occcasions, or every day are part of this experience.
